Missing Images in Wiki

Overview

After migrating from a self-hosted version of FogBugz to on-demand, you may notice that some images in the Wiki portal are not displaying.

This article provides information on the root cause and resolution of the issue.

Information

Root Cause

When importing a backup, either into the FogBugz On-Demand or On-Premise (self-hosted), sometimes elements in the Wiki can be incorrectly referenced, hence when the import process finishes, some Pages might display broken images.

Resolution

  1. Analyze the images in the Wiki pages (using the inspector). In this example, it can be seen that the images were referencing the old customer's domain URL.  Screen_Shot_2019-09-23_at_10.11.46_AM.pngScreen_Shot_2019-09-23_at_10.11.30_AM.png

  2. Change the URL accordingly. Once the URL for every image reference link (src="<URL>") is updated and configured to point to the new URL, all the images will start to display correctly.
