Overview
This article outlines the steps on how to clear your browser's cache for FogBugz UI to display properly.
Information
FogBugz is a web application, which is prone to issues that are related to the browser's cached content conflicting with the site. Sometimes, new features are not visible, and the page is not loading correctly.
An excellent way to start troubleshooting the issue is to check if the site correctly loads in Incognito/Private Browsing mode. If the site loads in incognito mode but not in normal mode, some content might have been cached by the browser, which prevents the application from working properly. To resolve the issue, you need to clear the cache to force the browser to reload the application.
Process
To clear the cache on Chrome:
-
Go to Settings > More tools > Clear browsing data... or you can press the keys Ctrl + Shift + Del.
-
On the Clear browsing data window, you can select either the Basic or Advanced mode. On the Basic tab, you will be able to choose the Time range you want to clear your cached data:
-
If you want to delete all cached data, select All time.
-
Check the Cached images and files option.
-
Click the Clear data button.
-
Reload your site.
NOTE: The process for other browsers is similar.

IMPORTANT: FogBugz only officially supports Chrome and Firefox browsers. We also aim to improve the application for other browsers as well (i.e., Safari). Issues on unsupported browsers are not considered as bugs but are treated as enhancement requests.
Validation
After reloading the site, you should be able to view the application back to normal. Sometimes, it is also required to restart the browser entirely. In some cases, you may need to restart the user session/ PC.
