Requesting Credentials or Password Reset for the Support Portal



This article provides a step-by-step resolution on how to obtain the credentials or reset the password for the FogBugz Support Portal.


  1. Browse to the Support Portal (If you want to request a new password, make sure you are logged out).

  2. Three main options are seen:
    • Forgot my password: Sends an email to your email address with a link to reset your password.
    • Sign up: If you never had any communication with us, you can create an account here.
    • Get a password: If you have communicated with our support staff through email previously, you are already registered. Use this option to set up a password.


  • Always check your Spam or Clutter folders for the password reset emails.
  • The email might take several minutes to arrive in your Inbox.
  • If you have not received any email regarding your password setup, contact us and we will set up a manual password for you.
