This article explains how to cancel your FogBugz subscription.
Note: A user can cancel the subscription at any time. They will continue to have access to FogBugz until the end of the subscription. However, the renewal will be canceled, and the account will become disabled after the end of their subscription term (monthly or annual).
- Head over to your User Options Page (Avatar > User Options)
- Click on “Your FogBugz Account”.
- Click on Close Account.
- Select and explain the reason why you want to close the account, then click OK.
What is our refund policy?
If you are past the free trial, and your trial period ended less than 90 days ago, just let us know and we will refund everything you have paid us. Otherwise, just hit the Cancel link on the Your Account page, and we will pro-rate you for the used portion of the current month and close your account. The FogBugz Promise: If you are not satisfied, for any reason, within 90 days you get a full refund; period, no questions asked. We do not want your money if you are not amazingly happy.
What happened to the per-user pricing?
We recently updated pricing for new accounts to allow for monthly and annual subscriptions with team-based pricing. If you are currently on the per-user model, please contact us to find out which plan would work best for your needs.
What is your data retention policy?
Once an account is deactivated, we keep the data handy for 6 months. Within that time, if you reactivate your account it'll be restored to its old state immediately. If you deactivate your account but want to keep the data around, one option would be to drop to the free two user tier (after deactivating all but two of your users). The free two-user tier may not be around indefinitely, but if you switch to the free two user tier and then we eliminate it, we will give you ample warning by emailing the address of an admin on the account.
