This article explains how to cancel your FogBugz subscription.
The only prerequisite for users to be able to close their subscriptions is that they have Admin permission.
- Open your User Options page by selecting [Your Avatar] > User Options.
- Select Your FogBugz Account.
- Click on Close Account.
- Select the reason for closing the account from the drop-down menu, then write a brief description of the reason for closing the account in the text box and click OK.
Q1. What is our refund policy?
A1. If your free trial period expired, and it ended less than 90 days ago, contact us to receive a 100% refund. Otherwise, select the Cancel link on the Your Account page to close your account and have your charges pro-rated for the used portion of the current month. The FogBugz Promise: If you are not satisfied for any reason within 90 days, you get a full refund; period, no questions asked. We do not want your money if you are not amazingly happy.
Q2. What happened to the per-user pricing?
A2. We recently updated the pricing for new accounts to allow for monthly and annual subscriptions with team-based pricing. If you are currently on the per-user model, please contact us to find out which plan would work best for your needs.
Q3. What is your data retention policy?
A3. Once an account is deactivated, we keep the data handy for 6 months. Within that time, if you reactivate your account, it'll be restored to its old state immediately.
If you deactivate your account but want to keep the data, you can drop to the free two-user tier after deactivating all but two of your users. The free two-user tier may not be around indefinitely. However, if you switch to the free two user tier, and then we eliminate it, we give you ample warning by emailing the address of an admin on the account.
Q4. How can I reactivate an account?
A4. If you have an inactive account and you'd like to reactivate, all you have to do is issue a password reset, and the account is active again.
