Overview
If you want to add more context to a FogBugz case you are working on, you can add links to other cases and Wiki articles. Referencing these links will help your readers better understand cases and navigate through FogBugz faster.
This article provides the steps on how to insert or reference the following links to your FogBugz cases:
Process
To insert an existing case:

Open the case that you want to edit and click the pen icon (
):

Highlight the text that you want to link to the existing case and press the link icon (
):

Type the word
casein the Target field to get a list of existing cases. Select the case that you want to reference from the drop-down list and click the OK button:

Click the Save button.
To insert a link of a Wiki article to a case:

Locate the unique ID assigned to the Wiki article that you want to link by hovering your mouse to the Wiki option on the left side menu and to the Wiki article that you want to reference. At the bottom-left portion of Chrome, you will see the URL of the Wiki article, which contains the unique ID at the end of the link (i.e., W1):

Open the case that you want to edit and click the pen icon (

Highlight the text that you want to link to the existing case and press the link icon (
). -
Type the unique ID of the Wiki article (e.g., W1, W2, etc.) in the Target field and click the OK button:
- Click the Save button.
Confirmation
After saving the changes you have made, the case or Wiki article link should now be referenced in the case. To verify, open the case and click on the link to check if it leads you to the right Wiki article or FogBugz case.
For referenced cases, you can also hover your mouse over the link to see a summary of the case:

Note: Hovering your mouse over a Wiki article link will not show a pop-up/summary of the article.
