Follow

Overview

At times, you might encounter issues where your team keeps committing code while on vacation. This would interrupt their work-life balance.

IP whitelisting comes to rescue in such cases. You can set up IP whitelists so that only certain blocks of addresses are able to access your Kiln account.

This article provides the steps to set up IP whitelisting that would enforce them to strike the work-life balance.

Process

  1. Go to IP Whitelists in your avatar menu:

NOTE: IP Whitelisting is not compatible with SSH. If you would like to use SSH transfer with Kiln (learn more about that Using Kiln with SSH), you will have to turn off whitelisting.
