What is it?
When you click a Case link or case card in the Planner, you will be presented with the Case View. The Case View offers a container for all the information and actions related to a Case.

Who will use it?
Any user will spend most of the time in the Case View. It's the core functionality of the Manuscript.
How is it used?
There are several areas in the Case View, and its fields and options will depend on your current state: viewing, or editing.
Warnings and Actions
In this section of the window, you will find general information and warnings regarding a case. Also, you will be presented with a bag containing all the possible actions, like a star, go to next/previous case, mark as Spam, Edit, Forward, Reply, Assign, and Resolve. The fields availability and editability will change accordingly depending on the Action that you select as well as the highlight color of the screen. This section is for the main details of the case. In the left, you will locate the Case Number, the status, and the Category Icon. In the center is the Case Subject along with the assignee and the Project, Area, and Milestone if applicable. Please notice that double-click on the Case Number will copy the case number to the clipboard.
In the left bar, you will find Correspondent, Priority, Time Tracking/Due date, Backlog Order, Release notes, Rss Feed and Subscribers with the possibility of adding Release notes, and subscribers directly from this view.

The history refers to all the subsequent changes that the Case has been going through since its creation. With a quick glance, you can easily have a general idea of the issue, read all the notes, emails, and field changes, analyze timestamps, edit some events, and even reply/forward particular emails that you find in the list. History might hide some trivial elements to make it shorter, and if you are Editing the case, you can also delete elements from the History.
