Deleting and Restoring Projects

This article describes the process of deleting and restoring deleted projects in FogBugz.

Prerequisite

Admin access

Deleting Projects

1. Navigate to the avatar menu and click Projects.

   

    

2. This will display all the projects. Click the delete icon beside the project you want to delete.

   

    

3. If there are cases assigned to the project you want to delete, a warning will be displayed before deleting the project, as shown in the image below.

   

    

4. Click Yes to delete the project.

   Note: Performing the steps mentioned above will not delete the existing cases. However, you will no longer be able to add new cases to this project.

Restoring Deleted Projects

To restore deleted projects, follow the steps mentioned below: 

1. Navigate to the avatar menu and click Projects.

2. Scroll to the end of the project list and click the Display Deleted Projects link.

   

    

3. Doing so will display the deleted projects as well. Click the 'undelete' icon beside the project you want to restore.
